Party With a Purpose
Each January, in commemoration of her sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.®’s founding, KK Ventures hosts KK's Founders' Day Jam. It is a fun-filled evening of fellowshipping, dancing, strolling, photo opportunities, vendors and more, all in support of the Delores G. Kirkland Scholarship Endowment Fund.

Through the Ivy Community Charities of Prince George's County Foundation (ICCPGC), Kristen established the Delores G. Kirkland Scholarship Endowment Fund in memory of her late mother, a Lifetime member of the sorority, to support minority students in the field of nursing!
Funds raised from hosting the 2024 KK’ s Founder’ s Day Jam totaled $5,500! KK Ventures proudly donated this amount to the ICCPGC to benefit students majoring in nursing from the local community.
